A global store field is a field you build once at shop level and then use in every channel of the shop. For example, if your Google, Meta and Microsoft channels all need the same cleaned up title, you can build clean_title once as a global store field instead of three times.
You manage them on the shop's Global store fields tab.
clean_title, and click Add.Each name can only be used once in a shop.
In any field picker in the shop's channels, global store fields are listed in their own group. For example, in a channel's title field, choose the mapping type Use and pick clean_title from the global store fields group.
In text, write a global store field as {{internal:clean_title}}. See Using field values in text.
Feedsmith works out global store fields from the top of the list to the bottom, before any channel runs. A field lower in the list can use one higher up as internal:<name>, but not the other way round.
For example:
brand_clean uses vendor with the edit Recapitalize, so KIWI OUTDOOR CO becomes Kiwi Outdoor Co.clean_title uses Combine with the field internal:brand_clean, a space and the field title, so it gives Kiwi Outdoor Co Merino Crew Tee.On the Global store fields tab the field picker doesn't list other global store fields, so type internal:brand_clean into the picker and choose it as a custom field.
Global store fields can't use channel fields, because channels run after them.
Click the eye icon (Preview) on a field to see 15 random products with the input values the field uses, the rule that matched, and the result. Click Shuffle for another 15. On the shop's Products tab you can also add global store fields as columns.
